The service
Birdseye Data provides a dataset and map derived from public sources, covering housing, labor, population, crime, schools and related figures for U.S. counties, metros, ZIPs and tracts.
Figures on this site are estimates we compute from those sources, not official statistics, and are not investment, lending or legal advice. Decisions you make using this data are your own responsibility.
Permitted use
You may use the site and its data for personal use and for internal business use, including citing a figure with attribution to Birdseye Data and a link back to the site.
You may not scrape the site in bulk, resell the dataset, or redistribute it — in whole or in part — without a written licence from us. [COUNSEL: confirm the scraping/redistribution language holds up alongside the robots.txt and any future API terms.]
Accuracy and availability
The site and its data are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Where a figure is suppressed on the site, that means it has been withheld — for a small sample, a data-quality issue, or a source-level suppression — not that it has been estimated in its place.
